In this chapter, the Lord reminded Moses again of who He is, and Moses immediately bowed down to the ground and worshipped. The same can be true for us. When we finally see God for who He is in our lives - the compassionate, gracious, forgiving, faithful, and just Lord that He is - and we really understand what that means to us personally and not just in hearsay, we can’t help but to bow down and worship the Lord. We are sinful, each and every one of us. We deserve death, and instead God offers us compassion, grace, and forgiveness when we turn to Him, despite our evil ways. We don’t deserve Him, and He knows it. So then when we do realize this Truth, He then teaches us His ways so that we can become more like His awesomeness for which we are so grateful, and less of our evil selves. The more we love God for His grace and salvation, the more we hate our human ways, and the more we want to turn to seek His teachings so that we may change. I know that I am extremely grateful for His teaching and instruction so that I am not lost in the darkness of this world (that can be felt)! I am grateful for His leading hand into His light so that I may be alive through Him, and so that He may know my name and find favor in me! I assume that you may feel the same way, too. If you would like to learn more about His ways or chat more about what He’s done for you in your life, feel free to either comment on this post, e-mail me on the “Plan of Salvation” page, or click the chat button! I’d love to hear more about your testimony or help clear up any questions at all!
“Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up to heaven in a cloud, while their enemies looked on.”
