Genesis 9:7 - But you, be fruitful and multiply; spread out over the earth and multiply on it.

Proverbs 13:24 - The one who will not use the rod hates his son, but the one who loves him disciplines him diligently. 

 

Proverbs 14:26 - In the fear of the Lord one has strong confidence and his children have a refuge.

Proverbs 20:7 - The one who lives with integrity is righteous; his children who come after him will be happy.

Proverbs 22:6 - Teach a youth about the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it. 

​

15 - foolishness is tangled up in the heart of a youth; the rod of discipline will drive it away from him.

Proverbs 23:13 - Don't withhold discipline from a youth, if you beat him with a rod, he will not die. 

​

Proverbs 27:5 - Better an open reprimand than concealed love.

​

14 - Strike him with a rod, and you will rescue his life from Sheol.

Proverbs 29:15 - A rod of correction imparts wisdom, but a youth left to himself is a disgrace to his mother.

17 - Discipline your son, and it will bring you peace of mind and give you delight.

19 - A slave cannot be disciplined by words; though, he understands, he doesn't respond.

21 - A slave pampered from his youth will become arrogant later on.

Isaiah 38:19 - The living, only the living can thank You, as I do today; a father will make Your faithfulness known to children.

Isaiah 54:13 - Then all your children will be taught by the Lord, their prosperity will be great.

Isaiah 59:21 - "As for Me, this is My covenant with them," says the Lord: "My Spirit who is on you, and My words that I have put in your mouth, will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouth of your children, or from the mouth of your children's children, from now on and forever," says the Lord.

Lamentations 3:27 - It is good for a man to bear the yoke while he is still young.

Hebrews 12:6 - for the Lord disciplines the one He loves and punishes every son He receives.

1 Peter 5:5 - In the same way, you younger men, be subject to the elders. And all of you clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.

2 John 1:4 - I was very glad to find some of your children walking in the truth, in keeping with a command we have received from the Father.

3 John 4 - I have no greater joy than this: to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
