If you haven’t read the book of Leviticus, then I highly recommend that you start! All of it represents what we’d need to do in order to become holy (as we were created to be before the introduction of sin to mankind from the enemy.) However, we learn throughout the end of the Old Testament, that us humans could never become holy on our own merit. Today, we praise God for how He cleansed us once and for all over 2,000 years ago! No animal sacrifice could cleanse the evil from our hearts - so He gave us His one and only Son to be sacrificed instead in order for us to be covered by His blood to share the likeness of our holy Lord!! Hallelujah 👏🏻
Our high priest, Jesus Christ, sacrificed Himself as our sin offering and made atonement for us to be cleansed from our uncleanness! Afterward, God will slaughter the burnt offering where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Thank God for sparing us from that fate! Praise Him for giving up His Spirit so that we could find it here in order to live with, through, and in Jesus, now and forever! We never have to fear danger because we are physically hidden in Him from harm by the covering of His blood. Our God can not break this promise. It’s done. We are sealed for all of eternity. Amen! Praise Jesus for His obedience to the Father’s will that He gave up His life for you and for me. May we pray for the same obedience to give up our own lives for others, too. Show us how to be more like You, Lord. Hold our hands and lead us the way 🤍
