The Noachide commandments are basic laws provided to keep order among all of humanity. They include prohibitions against murder, eating parts of a live animal, etc. When we become co-heirs to the inheritance of God’s children with Christ (Romans 8:17), we become more than just basic humanity. Being in covenant with God calls us to a higher standard of holiness and repentance, and we should be reminded of that constantly in our daily walks on the narrow Way. This is not only for our discipline, but also for encouragement as we choose to continue faithfully in the discipleship of Yeshua.
