My personal favorite verse - “You planned evil against me; God planned it for good to bring about the present result - the survival of many people.” (Verse 20)
No matter what you may be facing in this broken world, our God is stronger. He is all powerful, using His people for good. He sits on his throne; He has conquered the world. No one can hurt you once you’ve asked the Lord to live inside of your heart.
“What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?”
Romans 8:31
“Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.”
Isaiah 51:7
“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
James 4:7

Yes he was a great example of forgiveness and it’s true it does make it easier to forgive when you put hardships into perspective like he did, that it was a lesson from God! God plans every day of our life so even the hard stuff He has planned for us for a purpose. So forgive those around you who were a part of the hardships because they didn’t know any better, it was the Lord’s doing after all. No one can do anything to you without the Lord’s will, so there is always a reason.
That is a great quote! I will have to add this quote to my collection, I can apply it to my daily life if I feel as if someone has wronged me in any way and instead of dwelling on it, I can be reminded from Joseph’s stance to look on the bright side and good of every given situation.
