Genesis 44

Writer's picture: SofiaSofia

33, “Now please let your servant remain here as my lord’s slave, in place of the boy. Let him go back with his brothers.”

Judah was willing to put himself in slavery for his younger brother, but didn’t see the hypocrisy in that he had previously sold his younger brother Joseph into slavery. You’re always a fair judge, Lord, repaying evil for evil to those who commit it. I’m so grateful that we can be certain in our faith that You will always condemn the wicked, and exalt the righteous who stay true to Your ways. Thank You, Lord, for proving to us that no matter our situation, if we hold True to our faith in You and obey You, that You will always overcome evil and provide us peace and security as Your children. You bought us for a price, and we are Yours. Nothing in this world can ever take that away. Amen.

Scripture memory for today: “But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.”

‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭5:10‬

I wondered if they would take the chance to sell Benjamin out and let him take the blame, letting jealousy get in the way like once before or would they learn their lesson and step up and…
