I hope all is well. Here is my take on chapter 31. Jacob and his crew leaves lol but they leave without telling Laban about it which gets Jacob accused of being shady and taking some of Laban's things. However Rachel was the one that stole a few items because she realizes she wasn't receiving any inheritance but instead was used as apart of Labans bargaining tool to receive labor from Jacob.
Genesis 31:15: Are we not counted of him strangers? for he hath sold us, and hath quite devoured also our money.
We also found out that Jacob served 20 years total under Laban 7 for each daughter and 6 for the cattle. That is an insane amount of time I wonder if those 20 years have anything thing to do with the fact that alot of people start to retire after working a job for 20 years.
Laban and Jacob also didnt trust each other so they decided to make a covenant. These people are all over the place lol. What did you get from chapter 31?
