Yes Isaac definitely holds the promise of the lord from Abraham 🤍 during the famine, Egypt was a large country that had access to plenty of resources in order to support the people in desolate areas who were being hurt by it. However, the lord came to him and told him not to go to Egypt and instead live in the land He told him about. I couldn't imagine starving during a famine and not going where all of the resources were but instead going the opposite direction of the food and resources. It again reminds us how the lord tells us to live in the land He calls us to on our mission and not where we feel comfortable. It's important for us to remember we are foreigners but the lord will always be with us and bless us with His promised land and His children... imagine at the end of the world when the enemy's children are left on this earth as the children of god are resurrected to live with Him and all of the children born to people of the enemy are taken away from them and joined in the rapture to be joined with their Heavenly Father and us as well... we no longer will be married with our children but as spirits we will all live together with Him, having offspring has numerous as the sky as he gives His offspring His promised land. And those of us of faith who are also blessed by the Lord, being descendants of that promise and obeying His command, are the offspring now blessing all the nations of the earth by the spreading of this wonderful promise that was earned because Abraham listened and kept the lords commands and instructions. "Do not be afraid, for i am with you"... And Isaac called on the name of Yahweh faithfully, even after he was so successful; he was never proud and took credit for his achievements. The water they found at the end of the chapter, I believe, is a sign of Christ, as crazy as that may sound. And the fact that esaus family made life bitter for Isaac is a reminder that the children of the enemy will always make life bitter for us in this life...
