Genesis 2

Some notes I took was the fact that god rested on the seventh day and blessed it, declared it holy and rested from his work on that day. It's interesting that the very first springs essentially were created to water the ground in this way since there was no rain yet like you mentioned. That's so cool to me. I also thought it was really important to note that man was created first and the verse says "I will make a heller as his complement." So I think it's very interesting that god worded it that way that we are mans helper. And then at the end in verse 24 when he said "man leaves his father and mother and bonds with his wife, and they become one flesh." 🥰 I love the idea that my husband and I are literally one person in gods eyes that's so sweet to me.
