So what I took from chapter 14 was that Abram was such a faithful man. Not only faithful to god but to his family as well. When he hear lot was taken as prisoner he assembled 318 trained men in pursuit for his relative the people and all of the goods.... and after he was blessed Abram gave him a tenth of everything as we are supposed to do in church for our tithe... he is a great example for us all.
I love how when Abram was called to do something and he faced difficulty he didn't return back home and back down from his calling but instead trusted and relied on god with his struggle of rescuing his nephew.
May we also never choose to turn back from the path the Lord has set us upon simply because it isn't easy.
