So in chapter 13 these are the notes I have... while the herdsmen quarreled between themselves over the land... Abram represented the meek and quiet spirit of the lord when he said "please, let's not have quarreling..." he solved the manner quietly by offering to separate from him instead of causing any arguing between the relatives. He even let Lot choose whichever land he wanted and said he would go the other way to appease him... even though Lot chose the land that looked the best Abram didn't put up a fuss at all out of meekness to his brethren. And when Abram was meek and quiet to his brethren, the lord again promised to bless him greatly and again he built an alter to the Lord.
“But the meek will inherit the land and enjoy peace and prosperity.” Psalms 37:11 NIV The lord has a meek and quiet spirit so it is our duty as Christians to study this example and continue to try and practice the same spirit as our father in heaven. “Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” Matthew 5:48
