Exodus 7

But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart and multiply My signs and wonders in the land of Egypt. (Verse 3)

The Lord allows hard times and bad things to happen in the world so that we may see His hand working in everything by His signs and wonders in order that we may all know that He is Yahweh. Not His children specifically since we who believe already know that He is the Lord, but more so the children of the enemy, in order for them to know as well. Although this darkness may not be meant for us, it is important that we are not wavered by it and remain patient and still as the Lord works for now, so that His work can be seen by those who have not yet known, so that they may also be returned to Him. Thank God others have been patient for the Lord to show me wonders so that I may be returned to Him. I, therefore, will be patient through the darkness so that He may show Himself to others to have them return to Him as well, out of love for all of my brothers and sisters.

If the Lord did not allow the darkness, then there would be no need for His wonders to show everyone that He is real and all-powerful. The darkness highlights His light. So, we put up with the darkness and endure this broken world for now, having the hope that the Lord will call all of His people out of the land after some time, revealing His signs and wonders, and not leaving one behind. Thank God He doesn’t leave not one of His people behind in this world.

“Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.”

‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27:14‬

Great point to highlight! When we seem to think we are going through hardships it’s important to remember that is a way that God shows signs that he continues to work and has his hands in everything.❤️

Chapter 7 of Exodus discussed how Moses and Aaron continued to try to convince the Pharaoh to let the Israelites go. With doing so Moses and Aaron had been given a new role with much authority and responsibility, Moses is even been viewed as a God in a way.

Exodus 7:1 “And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron thy brother shall be thy prophet.”

Even with the new roles The Pharaoh didn’t believe…
