It is such a shame that we are so evil and don’t already know His ways automatically as we were created. Everything that seems natural to us as humans is evil in His sight. Anger, anxiety, jealousy... all very natural emotions we carry here on earth that we weren’t ever even created to feel. It’s so important that we read and pray every day to learn of the Lord’s ways and ask for His help since everything good that comes from Him is so opposite to what feels natural to us. We have to purposefully pray daily for HIm to transform our minds and our hearts to align with His so that we do not fall back into our own natural, evil ways. Most of us in Christ have already tried it our own way and we realize it doesn’t get us anywhere anyways. We want to do it His way. We love His instruction and hate our human tendencies. We just need to ask that He holds our hands, cradles us, feeds us milk, as if we were babies, until we’re ready to stand on our own in this world. Thank God He meets us where we are. He promises that He will teach us about the ways we should go, how we should be living, and what we should be doing. Where would we be without Him?!
