So much of what we know today will be blotted out when we reunite with the Lord. Do you realize that? The enemy and anything from the enemy will be completely wiped away, and sent to the Pit. My husband‘s family this passed week lost their beloved “Pawpaw.” We’ve only been married a handful of years and he’d been sick most of them so I don’t have very many memories with him, but the memories I will always cherish will be those of us staying up late together watching old Westerns. It was a time where the plot in the show would make us bring up our own opinions on what they should’ve done or how they should’ve acted that revealed our personal values on life, and we always appreciated that we had a lot of the same. When he passed though, it occurred to me that all of the memories we’ve made together that I cherish so deeply are done being made, these are all I have, and there will be no more. Also, when I get to the Lord, even my memories will be gone of these special times as well. There will be no Westerns full of drunkenness, shootings, and promiscuity in Heaven. This is the only life where I can appreciate these times we had together, since nothing evil can be in the Lord’s sight. What a special gift from the Lord, to realize that we only have such a little time to have these memories which makes them all the more valued in our hearts.... and for eternity in peace with none of the wretched sin we have here such as the death we are currently mourning over... I’ll take it. I’m so grateful for this life that He makes good in order that I can have good memories now, and perfect life to come. However, it’s so important to remember that everything from the enemy will be wiped clean. Any memory of “Amalek,” evil, the enemy... will be gone, and sent to the Pit. That’s why anyone who lives their life according to the enemy will be completely blotted out of Heaven, and left to die. So now let’s take some time to consider and reflect... how much of our lives will be blotted out? Let’s take today to ask for forgiveness of evil lifestyle choices and repent, turning our lives fully to Jesus Christ our Lord, to be able to live for eternity with Him. Did you know that He let Himself be brutally murdered to be the living sacrifice for atonement of OUR sins before the Lord because He didn‘t want us to be blotted out for our mistakes? If you didn’t fully grasp the magnitude of that when you’ve heard it before, then let today be the day that you let Him into your heart and save you from being blotted out, sister! 🤍
“‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.””
